Using a USB 2.0 port gave a better result. I have had some experience with a USB camera and found that, although it is compatible with USB 3.0, the camera utilised all of the available USB bandwidth. I want at least 6 outputs and some capture possibilities. Hi all, i am choosing hardware for a new system. As separate test, try the fastest streaming settings in OBS to see if they make a difference (Tuning - Ultra Low latency and Preset - P1). Met Resolume in a bar the other day Posts: 2 Joined: Sun 10:44. This is a difference that could be having an effect. I also notice that you are reducing the frame rate from 30 to 24. If OBS is in the list, check that as well. In the “Program Settings” tab, if “Resolume Software Arena.exe” is listed, check the individual program settings. If Resolume Arena is listed, set to high performance.Īlso open the Nvidia control panel “Manage 3D settings” and check the Global Settings tab to make sure these settings are changed. Check the Windows “Graphics performance preference”. Make sure that “Optimus global processor” is set to “High performance” and “Threaded Optimization” is checked off. Open SpoutSettings and you will find help buttons next to "Nvidia " and “Windows graphics settings”. This brings in complications of Power Saving graphics and differences between applications. If I enable two, it will turn the other to 'offline'. However, I can only select one at a time. Resolume is picking up the composition output or itself, the output of madmapper, and the output of the NDI Scan converter tool. Meaning Im not connected to any router or wifi. Time per frame is less than 0.5 milliseconds. I have three NDI outputs operating on my localized computer. Curiously, this one CAN sometimes see other NDI sources on the network, and then I can add it as a webcam input in Resolume.Spout texture sharing is unlikely to be directly causing the latency. I have the NDI Virtual Input utility installed on the PC. I don't think it is a Resolume problem, since the NDI apps on either end behave the same way, however, I was wondering if someone had encountered something like this. R6 and NDI video monitor/scan converter on both machines as well as NDI camera on iPhone, wired network for machines. 2 machines, 1 with a 980, other with a 860m. I have tried setting the Windows network type to Private, and ensured that Discoverable is turned on. Tried a 4k, 2k, 1080p & 720p composition, 1 layer, with the standard NDI output and NDI output from advanced output. You will see a dropdown of all outputs that are connected. To setup a screen, right click on it on the left hand side. Each screen represents an output going out of Resolume. You will see a window that lists the active screens on your computer down the left hand side. Has anyone seen this? Basically the PC can't see any external NDI sources, but it can send NDI. To start using the Advanced Output, select the Output > Advanced menu option. I would like to be able to send NDI TO the PC, since it has a much stronger GPU. Try playing a black solid in your bottom layer in Resolume, or enable Black BG in the advanced output for your NDI slice. To get everything it has to offer, you will need Arena. Video stream, as in the case of MadMapper, we transmit through NDI. The Advanced Output is available on both Avenue and Arena. The Mac can see NDI sources from the PC including Arena, the NDI Test Patterns, etc, NDI camera on an iPhone etc. Today there is a need to make visualization using Arena. (It can see NDI sources on the same PC - ie Resolume on the PC can see the NDI test pattern generator running on the same PC). I was testing out some stuff, with Arena 7 running on a Mac and on a PC.Īpps on the Windows PC can't see NDI sources from any other source, including Arena on the Mac or a phone running the NDI camera app. With over a hundred effects and sources you can add loads of new possibilities to Avenue & Arena. Want Plugins Get Juicebar Juicebar is the content store for Resolume. SOLVED: Removed the "Killer" network drivers and reverted to the generic Microsoft drivers. First, we need to set up Resolume to enable OSC (short for Open Sound Control) communication and NDI streaming. Version 7.18.2 for Windows Includes Alley & DXV Codec.
