The only thing that gets lost by doing that is the clock. If some aspect of the infotainment system isn't working properly, a full reset by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery should be the first thing to try. It's a stupid system (Who even steals factory stereos anymore? Especially lousy ones like what the gen 4 Odysseys have) and having it automatically entered by holding the power button down is a good intermediate step to phasing that kind of thing out completely.
